Mirae is pursuing a Master of Environment and Management degree from the Royal Roads University. Mirae is interested in sustainability, equity, and communication. She will research whether the residential water conservation campaign messages promoted in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, have successfully been received and understood by fluent and non-fluent English speakers. She will also explore whether tailoring the campaign communication strategies between the two groups is needed by assessing the preference of communication methods and psychological factors using the Theory of Planned Behaviour.

In her spare time, Mirae likes to walk on trails, do mountain hikes, ride her bicycle, and occasionally paddle board on lakes.
